patient care

patient care looks so different here.....

i've seen patients in various locations. our apartment, their house, friends' houses, friends of the doctor's house. i don't know. the scenery at times is prettier with palm trees and mountains in the background, and at times it's sadder with trash, and dilapidated buildings in the background. it feels like we're just sitting down to chat when in actuality we're discussing a patient's health and a plan of action for their care.

yesterday plans for work were made while swimming in the ocean and eating pizza. completely different. in july a group is coming to finish an office next to our apartment for us....i wonder how things will change.
